| Acetone |

| MEK (Methyl Ethyl Ketone) |
A low boiling, medium drying solvent used primarily to thin nitrocellulose lacquers, ethyl cellulose, acrylic and vinyl-acetate vinyl-chloride copolymers. Use only where recommended by paint product, adhesive or hobby manufacturer. |
| Mineral Spirits |
Thinner for oil-based paints, enamels, varnishes and stains. Ideal for cleaning brushes or rollers after painting and an excellent solvent for oil, grease, tar and wax. Test on sample before using on plastics, synthetic fabrics and tile. |
| Toluene |
Fast evaporating, clear, colorless hydrocarbon solvent for thinning dyes, resins, oils and certain primers and topcoats. Soluble in alcohol and insoluble in water. Ideal for removing wax, grease, polish and dirt from surfaces before painting. |
| Denatured Alcohol |
Recommended for thinning and removing shellac as well as cleaning brushes and equipment. Can be mixed with soap and water. Harmless to rubber. Will clean porcelain, glassware, windows, mirrors, metal and unlacquered jewelry. Also an effective spot remover for most inks. |

| VM&P Naphtha |

Clear, colorless, aromatic hydrocarbon solvent for thinning varnishes, many synthetic enamels, rubber cement, epoxy paint and rubber base paint. Soluble in alcohol and insoluble in water. |
| Paint Thinner |
Kardol Paint Thinner has a high solvency which allows it to blend thoroughly and quickly with a minimum of stirring. It is specially formulated to meet the requirements of a wide variety of paints, varnishes and enamels wherever mineral spirits or turpentine is recommended as a thinner. It is also ideal for cleaning brushes or rollers after painting and is an excellent solvent for oil, grease, tar and wax. Because it dries completely, it is widely used for cleaning machinery, tools, guns and sporting equipment. Test on sample before using on plastics, synthetic fabrics and tile. |
